O tão aguardado álbum de estreia dos russos Tesla Boy também já anda por aí e não deixa nada a desejar. Depois do incrível EP homónimo, um disco super competente para os amantes e puristas do synth-pop da década de 80, marcado pela voz hipnótica de Anton Sevidov e elementos filtrados de nomes como Bowie ou The Smiths, ao pop mais luminoso dos New Order, Duran Duran ou A-Ha. Um preparado sonoro com uma curiosa herança saudosista, que recupera algumas boas malhas do EP, como Fire ou Electric Lady, mas também avança com energia reforçada em inéditos como Synthetic Prince, Minsk-2 ou Speed of Light ou baladas mais negras repletas de nuances e profundidades emocionais subtis como Synchronizing ou Rebecca, texturados por teclados synth aquecidos, riffs de guitarra e percussão desavergonhadamente vintage, que deixam recordações filmes passados, luzes neons, gabardinas compridas e cabelos volumosos.

The much antecipated debut album of Russian trio Tesla Boy is also around and leaves nothing for desire. After the incredible self-titled EP, a super competent album for purists and 80′s synth-pop lovers, marked by the hypnotic voice of Anton Sevidov and elements filtered from names like Bowie or The Smiths, to the brighter pop of New Order, Duran Duran or A-Ha. A curious nostalgic heritage, which recovers some good tracks from the EP, such as Fire or Electric Lady, but also introduces highly energetic new songs like Synthetic Prince, Minsk-2 or Speed of Light, as well as darker ballads with nuances and subtle emotional depths like Synchronizing or Rebecca, textured by unashamedly vintage warm synths, guitar riffs and percussion, leaving memories of past films, neon lights, long raincoats and voluminous hair. An album not to miss.
