O indie-rock experimental dos Dirty Projectors não é para toda a gente. Eu próprio estive mais de um ano para aprender a gostar do álbum de estreia da banda de Brooklyn, Bitte Orca.
Agora se tivesse ouvido esta remistura do produtor Hidden Cat (Madison Bullard) para Stillness is The Move, há muito que tinha ficado viciado na banda. Bullard certamente tornou a faixa numa preciosidade de ritmos electro-pop ondulantes com efeito de catapulta que atiram o corpo bem alto no ar.
Depois de remisturas para nomes como Portishead, Monarchy ou Bag Raiders, Hidden Cat editou o EP Get With It que pode ser ouvido na página do artista.
Dirty Projectors’s experimental indie-rock is not for everyone. Even I took over a year to learn to like the Brooklyn band’s debut album, Bitte Orca. Now if I had heard this remix of Stillness is The Move by the producer Hidden Cat (Madison Bullard) long ago, I would had become addicted instantly. Bullard certainly made the track a gem of undulating electro-pop rhythms with a catapult effect that throw your body high into the air. After making some awesome remixes for names like Portishead, Monarchy or Bag Raiders, Hidden Cat has released his own Get With It EP which can be heard on the artist’s page.
