Já de Pink Ganter nunca ouvi falar, mas esta remistura de So This Is Goodbye é suficiente para aqui vir parar. Pop dream-wave nostálgica com uma guitarra atmosférica em jeito de despedida.

I already knew the American folk artist William Fitzsimmons, who despite his tough lost in the woods of Illinois lumberjack kind of look, has one of the sweetest and softest voices I’ve ever heard. As for Pink Ganter I’ve never heard of, but this remix of So This Is Goodbye is enough to get him here. Nostalgic dreamwave pop with an atmospheric guitar like felt farewell. Summer end will sound something like this.

Gomma Records has just published the new For Ever EP, from italian DJ Rodion. The album consists of six tracks deeply inspired by the soundtrack composers Morricone and Goblin, and features vocals from Jeppe Kjellberg of WhoMadeWho and Louie Austen, in an unexpected result that joins warm Balearic house beats, western rhythms, italo-disco ballads and robotic vocoders like brothers torn apart at birth. É o caso do produtor alienígena Morgan Geist, que esteve há poucos dias na cabine do Lux numa noite incendiária. O DJ da Metro Area, surge ao lado de nomes como Michel Cleis e André Lodemann com este canhão electro apontado às pistas da dança, que só me faz lembrar os bons velhos hits dos Everything But The Girl.

The second single from Tracey Thorn’s sophomore album Love And Its Opposite, Why Does The Wind? is due to be released in June 14th and comes with some highly recommended dance remixes. The alien producer Morgan Geist is one of them, he who was in Lux a few weeks ago on a incendiary night. The Metro Area’s DJ appears alongside names such as Michel Cleis and Andrew Lodemann with this electro cannon pointed at the dancefloors, which only reminds me of the good old hits from Everything But The Girl.
