A música portuguesa ainda vive. Prova disso foi a grande surpresa que caiu no mail do SBB este fim de semana. Luís Salgado, conhecido por Stereoboy, é a minha nova descoberta. A partir de Tomar, Stereoboy tem vindo a disparar bolas de sabão electro-pop multicolores que rebentam no ar em salpicos de synths reluzentes e reminiscências de spektrum que acordam a infância esquecida. Envoltos na voz inocente de Helena Veludo, as bubbles atmosféricas de Luís Salgado relembram as viagens cósmicas da banda francesa Air, que nos deixam à deriva numa galáxia distante com vontade de nunca mais voltar.

From Tomar, Stereoboy has been shooting multicolored electro-pop soap bubbles that burst in the air in splashes of sparkling synths and reminiscences of spektrum that awaken a long forgotten childhood. Wrapped in the innocent voice of Helena Veludo, Salgado’s atmospheric bubbles recall the cosmic travelings of the french band Air, leaving us adrift in a distant galaxy with the desire to never return.
