Há dias partilhei a re-vision dos Cut Copy para Light of Love do trio de Portland The Miracles Club, incluído no EP de remisturas já disponível na Cutters Records, juntamente o novo tema So Hot e versões de Neurotic Drum Band e Ulysses. O vídeo realizado por Judah Switzer para a remistura dos electro-poppers australianos também caiu recentemente e grita Vogue de Madonna por todos os poros. Nice!

Some days ago I shared Cut Copy’s re-vision for ‘Light of Love’ by Portland trio The Miracles Club, included in the remixes EP out now at Cutters Records along the new song ‘So Hot’ and versions for the likes of Neurotic Drum Band and Ulysses. The Judah Switzer-directed video for the remix of the aussie electro-poppers also dropped recently and has Madonna’s Vogue written all over it. Nice!

À canção original, já repleta de pianos ondulantes e luxuriantes, a banda australiana acrescentou percussões latinas para um suave tom tropical. Esta versão está incluída no EP de remisturas disponível na Cutters.

Our favorites Cut Copy took up ‘Light Of Love’, from Portland’s psych-house trio The Miracles Club, and gave it injection of dance energy. To the original song, already filled with swirling lush pianos, the Australian band added latins drums for a soft tropical tone. This version is included on the Remixes EP out now on Cutters.

Dois dias depois de um concerto eficaz no Coliseu de Lisboa, com equilíbrio perfeito entre o electro-rock 80’s e clubbing de alto nível de energia de dança, os Cut Copy voltam a ser notícia com a oferta da primeira de muita re-interpretações do single Need You Now. Os companheiros Architecture in Helsinki acharam que seriam uma boa ideia imaginar a canção como um classic de Roy Orbinson e o resultado pode ouvir-se de seguida e descarregada aqui.

Two days after an effective concert at the Lisbon Coliseum, with perfect balance between 80’s electro-rock and highly danceable clubbing energy, Cut Copy return to the spotlight by offering the first of many re-interpretations of single Need You Now. Alguns dos melhores produtores e DJ’s do momento andam em guerra para ver quem consegue a melhor remistura de Take Me Over, o mais recente single retirado do álbum Zonoscope dos Cut Copy. Primeiro foi Thee Loving Hands, a.k.a Tim Goldsworthy. Nas semanas seguintes seguiram-se os canadianos Azari & III, depois Mylo e agora os Flight Facilities. Sinceramente não sei qual gosto mais… Mais vale curtir os 4!
